Sarah Bolka has devoted her career to driving human connection across countries, silos, and disciplines in the private and public sectors. Sarah has spent the last 15 years in the energy industry where she has served internationally in commercial, leadership, and advisory roles at ExxonMobil to deliver on energy needs for and to grow value with customers, supply chain partners, and other key stakeholders.

Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Sarah served as an Associate for Booz Allen Hamilton where she developed strategy, drove organizational transformation, and facilitated wargaming for US Department of Defense clients. Sarah began her career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps where she led tactical units ranging from 20 to 200.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Minnesota and holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University.

Throughout her life, Sarah has invested in her community by supporting wildlife conservation, at-risk youth, and women. Sarah has served on the Board of Directors of Akashinga since 2025. She is a member of the Houston Committee on Foreign Relations as well as the United Way Women’s Initiative in Greater Houston. Sarah served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston for 8 years along with being a “big sister” to Lauren. Sarah enjoys sharing her sense of adventure and commitment to service with her two daughters.
