Wadzanai Munemo joined Akashinga in 2017 and has progressed through the ranks from Field Ranger to Ranger Supervisor. Based in Karoi, Zimbabwe, she leads with strength and resilience, drawing from her own lived experience as a single mother of three.

Since joining Akashinga, Wadzanai has transformed her life and the lives of her children, creating stability and opportunity through her leadership. She is deeply respected in her community, where she plays a key role in building local understanding of wildlife conservation and inspiring other women to follow a similar path.
